Welcome to the

Serving Coon Rapids since 2008
Our mission is to serve the needs of the Coon Rapids community through a wide range of volunteer projects. These projects are held throughout the year and include: Belgian Waffle Breakfasts, Bell Ringing for the Salvation Army, Coon Rapids 4th of July celebration and parade, Coon Rapids Arts Commission Concerts in the Park concession stand, Coon Rapids Snowflake Days and a number of others.
The Coon Rapids North Star Lions Club is a member of Lions District 5M7, Region 2, Zone 6. This district is comprised of a number of Lions Clubs to include Blaine Central, Columbia Heights, Coon Rapids North Star, Fridley and Spring Lake Park. As members of Lion's International, we serve our community with pride, and invite anyone interested to join us in our continuing effort to make the world a better place. Since 1917, Lions clubs have offered people the opportunity to give something back to their communities. From involving members in projects as local as cleaning up an area park or as far-reaching as bringing sight to the world's blind, Lions clubs have always embraced those committed to building a brighter future for their community.
Locally the Coon Rapids North Star Lions also volunteer at and/or financially support organizations such as the ACBC Emergency Food Shelf, the Mercy Hospital Wellness Van, Feed My Starving Children, the Coon Rapids Community Scholarship Organzation and Hope 4 Youth.
Our programs are continually changing to meet new needs and greater demands, but our mission has never wavered: "We Serve."
Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world.
