OPERATION CODE PURPLE

The Capitol City Lions are getting involved in the Operation Code Purple.  Code Purple is a project that Dover has established to help the homeless with a place to stay when the temperature gets below freezing.  We are providing hats, gloves, toiletries, etc. to help those in need.

SHEPHERDS PLACE

​​We also collect items for women and children for Shepherds Place.

STUDENT MENTORING/EYE SCREENING CHILDREN AND DAYCARE

We are doing Student Mentoring, Eye Screening of school and daycare children

PANTRY ITEMS

Every month at our meetings, we collect food items for a local pantry.

DAYCARE EYEGLASS SCREENING

We have begun screening children at day cares to determine those who need help with their eyes.
