MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

The Lions Club of Calgary is currently seeking new members.  If you would like to help the less fortunate in our city through a variety of club service activities and donations please consider joining our team.

The Lions’ motto is “We Serve”.  The Lions Club of Calgary has been serving our community for over 85 years and our common goal of service to our local and international communities is what binds our club members.

Our club raises funds by offering catered food services to a variety of companies and organizations.  Events vary from outside BBQ’s and pancake breakfasts at various locations across the city to inside catered meals at the Lions Village of Calgary, a 90-unit seniors housing apartment complex for low-income seniors.

We make a difference everyday and we are very proud of our service projects and the donations we make to individuals, families and charities.   Last year we were able to support over 50 different causes!

To become a member the first step is getting to know us.  Our Club Secretary is Chris Clarke and he can be reached at chris_clarke@shaw.ca or 403-286-3524.  Chris can provide you with an information package and introduce you to everything about our club and Lions International.  From there you will be invited to join us at a one of our service activities and/or one of our bi-monthly club meetings to meet personally with members of our club and see us in action.
