In October 2024, the Boone Area Lions Club lent a flag display for the new Boone Heritage Monument

This monument is located at the Dan'l Boone Inn Corner at King Street across from Earth Fare. There was going to be an official dedication event Sunday September 29th, but Helene determined elsewise. This display will be up through October. Many Boone Non Profits have contributed to this. We should be proud of the helpful people we have in this area of North Carolina. We are Boone Strong.

Boone Area Lions Club Celebrated 75th Anniversary at 2011 Dinner

Looking back to 75 years of serving the community we also celebrated the present and our great family of members, and looked forward to the many activities and service events we will conduct in the years ahead. All are welcome to join us and become a fellow Lion dedicated to serving the communities in which we live.
