LCIF Coordinator Lion Jeanne Blaize
Role and Responsibilities

The Club LCIF Coordinator is an ambassador for LCIF at the club level and is crucial to the promotion of our foundation. This person shares LCIF stories, motivates fellow Lions to support LCIF, and enables LCIF to advance its humanitarian work both locally and globally. Club LCIF Coordinators will be equipped with resources that will allow them to champion the goals of the foundation to Lions.

Program Coordinator Lion Ayana Prescott
Role and Responsibilities PROGRAM COORDINATOR. He/she improves general meetings and keeps members informed of topics of importance to members by scheduling speakers and entertainment for general meetings based on the interests of club members. The program coordinator obtains permission for speakers from the president, informs the club secretary for inclusion on the agenda and informs the marketing communication chairperson to ensure effective communication. He/she welcomes the speaker on arrival and ensures proper seating and welcoming during the event.
Leo Advisor
Role and Responsibilities

Leo club advisors guide Leos in managing club activities and developing effective community service projects. Advisors also foster the development of Leos by creating an environment for exchange and connecting Leos with community leaders. This Lion should be someone who enjoys working with youth and engaging others in service through the following;

  • Oversee the orientation and ongoing development of the Leo club members
  • Promote Leo club activities
  • Attend each Leo club and board of directors meeting
  • Serve as the liaison between the sponsoring Lions club and the Leo club
  • Ensure new Leos receive orientation and new member materials
  • Recognize Leos for their achievements
  • Encourage graduating Leos to become Lions

NB: A new policy has been put into effect to help fill this vital role of Club LCIF Coordinator at the club level.  In addition to serving as mentors to the club president and vice presidents, immediate past club presidents will now serve as Club LCIF Coordinators.  If he or she is unable to serve in this capacity, the position may be filled by another club member.
