Christmas Social Gathering on December 22,2016
‘Tis the season to be jolly, fa la la la la la la la la...
Yellow ties that build the team, fa la la la la la la la la...
Yellow scarfs that bind the hearts, fa la la la la la la la la...
‘Tis the spirit of the Lions, fa la la la la la la la la...
And jolly it was when the ‘Gang with the Yellow Ties/Scarfs” – along with their families – got together for a Christmas season social, with dinner, karaoke and games.
Unlike a regular meeting, there was no agenda per se, just everyone chatted away while someone else picked up the 2-in-1 microphone-sound track box – a mini karaoke set, connected with blue tooth to a cellphone with video and lyrics – and sang his/her heart out!
And something we cannot do without, meeting or otherwise, our Tail Twister Lion Charles again ‘strutted his stuff’, and “exercised his duties”, adding much ecstatic surprises in the midst. None the less, our President Lion Kelvin was very generous – apparently putting forth the ‘biggest change’ he had in his pocket – bailing himself out for the entire evening, efficiently and effectively!
Other than the good food, the deemed Most Fun part of the evening was the Games portion prepared by Lion Flora. These were games that attracted and involved all ages – even our youngest guests eagerly participated; after all, age is not a limit when one chooses to participate fully, in games and in life.
And of course, a party is not a party without some lucky draws and prizes, and everybody went away with some thoughtful gifts, a full stomach and a strengthened kindred spirit, that is the team of the Angus Glen Lions Club.

What do you get, Lion Charles?
