Angus Glen Lions Club is pleased to announce that we have received funding under the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program for our "Activi-thon for 55+ 2024". This federal grants and contributions program supports projects that are led or inspired by seniors who are making a difference in the lives of others in their communities. The funds will be used to plan and deliver the Activi-thon for 55+ project.

Our Lions year is from July 2024 to June 2025.
This will be another exciting year for Angus Glen Lions as we have some exciting service projects that are coming along throughout the year.
We are proud to offer the "Activi-thon for 55+ 2024" to our community members who are 55 years of age or above.
We will be hosting a fundrasing concert featuring York Regional Police Community Chorus in support to "The Difference" project for a new training facility in Oakville for the Dog Guides program. The concert is scheduled on Saturday, November 16, 2024 in Markham.
Our club will be hosting in collaboration of Markham Lions Club for the MDA Effective Spreaking Contest from May 2 - 4, 2025 at the Sheraton Hotel in Richmond Hill. This Speaking Program will bring in students from Grades 4 to 12 in three difference grade groups from across the 10 Districts of LIons in Ontario and part of Quebec to the event.
Angus Glen Lions continue to show our creativity in service. We meet online monthly. We will continue to support the "Pull Tabs for Puppies" to collect Pop tabs to support the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides Program.

Happy 5th Charter Anniversary
We celebrated our club's 5th Charter Anniversary on November 27, 2021. Due to the pandemic, we had an outdoor hiking event instead of a traditional indoor celebration.
