(Santa Sleigh 2013)
This is an opportunity for the lions to give something back to Blaenau Gwent. We visit supermarkets throughout the BG Valleys. Santa will be collecting any Christmas lists, or giving out details how to email it direct, if you wish.

(The 100 Club Prize draw 2013)
This is an annual Prize Draw Night and will be held at the Corner Club where entertainment and meal is put on to make it event of a social evening.
7.30 pm Wednesday 20th November
(Winterfest 2013)
This is an annual event which is organised by Ffrindiau Tyleri. As a club we loan our santa sleigh for switch on of the Christmas lights. We also provide a Santa grotto on the main evening.

This is an annual event which is held every year to celebrate the conception of the club (charter).

(Aberfest 2013)
This is an annual event which is organised by Ffrindiau Tyleri. This event is growing with continued support from the club. This event has progressed from 1 week centered arounda classic car show to a series of events now over a 3 week period.
Aberfest 2013:- Sunday 16th June – Saturday 7th July

(Starlight Walk)
This is a new event for the club although the event is in it's 4 year. This year walk will take place on the 19th April. All sponsorship will go directly to canser reserch.
(Easter name the toy)
This is an event we run with with JD wetherspoon Pontylottin and is launched on the 19th March and be drawn on the 28th March. This gives the opertunity for social evenings for all members
(District Convention)
This is a an annual event where the clubs in district 105W meet. As a club a delegation attends representing the club with is in Zone C. This year the Vice President Lion Nick and Lion Jane attended, In the absence of the President

(London Theatre Weekend 2012)
This is a fantastic weekend break, slowly becoming not only a theatre based but sightseeing, shopping trip as well.

This is a new collaboration we have entered into with the Abertillery J D Wetherspoons( Pontlottyn). We are supplying the Santa as part of their Breakfast with Santa event.

Caerffili & Cardiff Lions
This is an opportunity to work with other Lions clubs within our zone. The merger of Caerfilli & Cardiff now covers a vast area We where asked if we would like to assist them with there christmas sleigh. Blaenau Gwent lions will be suppling members to assist at Sainsburys in Thronehill in Cardiff on
