WE LOVE A PARADE

Our thanks go out to the following Lions who did a great job of lining up floats for the Granite City Days Parade.  Lion Bob Feigh’s crew of float liner-uppers was made up of Lions Don Cook, Mike Evans, Sig Langerud, Steve Ludwig, Jim Page, Denny Ringsmuth, Ted Takala and Bud Wilson.  Thanks once again to Lion Bob Feigh for coordinating this activity for the past several years.

ST. CLOUD ROX VS. THE BISMARCK LARKS

A big thank you goes out to Lion Debbie Clausen for arranging for our Lions to attend the fifth longest nine inning game in Northwoods League history. The game ended in a 12-10 win for the Bismarck Larks over our St. Cloud Rox.  It lasted 4 hour and 12 minutes, and a good time was had by all.

OUR LIONS GARAGE SALE

A huge thank you goes out to Lion Roberta Schiel for chairing our recent garage sale held at our park shelter.  A thank you also goes out to Lions that donated items for the garage sale.  And finally the garage sale would not have been made possible without our Lion members that spent some very hot days at the shelter. Lion helpers were Joel Ampe, Jeanne Borgstrom, Don Cook, Mike Evans, Glen Farb, Chris Jensen, Phil Limerick, Charlie Lindt, Steve Ludwig, Mike Oehrlein, Jim Page, John Schiel, Roberta Schiel, Darwin Schwantes, Ted Takala, Bud Wilson and Joyce Wilson.

UPCOMING BRAT SALE
