The Lions Club of Werribee was chartered in March 1961 as the 177th Lions Club in Australia. We operate in the Western area of Melbourne, in the country suburb of Werribee some 30klms west of Melbourne, the capital of Victoria.
The Club is actively involved in community work within the City of Wyndham, distributing more than $1,000,000 in past years to charities, welfare and community groups.
We are a group of people who are dedicated to making our communities a better place to live, work and grow. With like-minded people we provide real change and create opportunities in our communities. At Lions we make things happen. One more member gives us two more hands. Watch our video >

Lions Christmas Cakes
A huge Thank You to all who have supported the Lions Clubs by purchasing the famous and popular Lions Australia Fruit Christmas Cakes and Puddings.
Cakes are available in 1.5kg ($20) and 1.0kg ($16) sizes and are made to the finest quality. The 900g Puddings are $16. Cakes contain over 50% fruit content and are all Australian Made. They are delicious and long lasting. A Christmas is not a Christmas without a Lions Christmas Cake or Pudding.

All proceeds from the sale of cakes goes to charity to build a better life for someone in our community who is less fortunate than ourselves.
Lions Christmas Cakes and Puddings are sold at Pacific Werribee (Plaza) and Manor Lakes Shopping Centre each Saturday and Sunday in December leading up to Christmas. Cakes can also be purchased from the Bendigo Bank Werribee and Sesto Shoes in Watton Street Werribee. Cakes can also be purchased by contacting the Lions Club of Werribee.

Relay For Life - Wyndham Event - 2025
The Lions Club has entered a team in the 2025 Wyndham Relay For Life event to be held on 3rd and 4th May 2025. Contact us if you would like to join us for this important fundraising event.
The Lions Club of Werribee has entered a team in th Wyndham 2025 event to help raise funds for this most worthy event in aid of Cancer Research. This will the 20th year that the Club had participated in the Relay For Life event. The 24 hour walkathron is held over a weekend and consists of about 100 teams from the local area. The combined effort of all teams in 2019 raised more than $245,000 towards cancer research, education and support programs, of which the Werribee Lions Club contributed $5,100. More details...
