About the WCC Lions Club

The Waubonsee Community College Lions Club was inspired by Geneva Lion Kim Caponi, Director of Presidential Communications and Operations at Waubonsee, Aurora-Noon Lion President Michele Needham, Executive Director of Human Resources at Waubonsee, and Elburn Lion Dr. Scott Peska, Assistant Vice President of Student Services and Alumni Relations at Waubonsee. After receiving high interest from the college, the Waubonsee Community College Lions Club voted and leadership and on January 25, 2017, the club’s charter was accepted with 20 members; since January members have continued to join with the shared vision of making an impact in the Waubonsee community. The WCC Lions club is open to all Waubonsee students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members. The club is sponsored by the Aurora-Noon Lions Club, Elburn Lions Club, and Geneva Lions Club.
