Since 2020, Waimauku Lions have contributed significantly to the new den for the Motutara-Waimauku Scouts Group. This building was moved to site off Pollard Lane in Waimauku in 2020. As you can imagine, many delays have applied due to Covid, but the building is now nearly ready.

Waimauku Lions are proud to have been able to provide funds to replace the complete roof (previously damaged by a fire.) Lately, we have also provided assistance with payments for a sewage and waste water system.

We look forward to having this building up and running. It will be a real asset for the community, and and enjoyed by Scouts, other community groups, young and old.
