Our Club History

The Virginia Gateway Lions Club was founded on June 22, 2021. This is a 100% volunteer group based in the Northern Virginia region that builds bonds within its members through a variety of activities, encouraging individuals to support each other and give back to the community. There are currently 20 members that actively contribute monthly or annually to the many activities and programs the club develops. In just a few months of existence, hundreds of individuals and especially children have benefitted from free vision and hearing screenings. Current fundraising initiatives will benefit future youth programs to include the Bland Music competition and future scholarships program.

The Virginia Gateway Lions Club is poised to become one of the most diverse and active Clubs in the region.

Historia de Nuestro Club

El Club de Leones Virginia Gateway se fundó el 22 de junio de 2021. Este es un grupo compuesto de 100% voluntarios con sede en la región del norte de Virginia que crea vínculos entre sus miembros a través de una variedad de actividades, alentando a las personas a apoyarse entre sí y contribuir a la comunidad. Actualmente hay 20 socios que contribuyen activamente mensual o anualmente a las numerosas actividades y programas que desarrolla el club. En tan solo unos meses de existencia, cientos de personas y especialmente niños se han beneficiado de exámenes gratuitos de visión y audición. Las iniciativas actuales de recaudación de fondos beneficiarán a los futuros programas para jóvenes que incluye el primer concurso de música del club y el futuro programa de becas.

El Club de Leones Virginia Gateway está preparado para convertirse en uno de los clubes más diversos y activos de la región.
