Eyeglass Recycling Program

Programa de Reciclaje de Anteojos

The Virginia Gateway Lions Club collects used eyeglasses to deliver them to regional Lions Eyeglass Recycling Centers across Northern Virginia. Eyeglasses are delivered to the regional Lions Eyeglass Recycling Centers where volunteers clean, sort by prescription strength, and package the used glasses. These recycled glasses are then distributed to people in need in low and middle-income communities where they will have the greatest impact.
