VERNON LIONS "DUCKS FOR DOGS" 2024

Our fourth annual duck race and family day is June 22 at Polson Park from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The event is free to attend. There will be entertainment, games for children, BC & Alberta Guide Dogs will provide a Guide dog to take people through a maze to experience what it would be like to be blind, a BBQ lunch can be purchased on site throughout the day. The duck race will be at 1 PM in the Vernon Creek at Polson Park.
The prizes for the race are as follows: 1st Duck to cross the finish line is $1,000, 2nd Duck is $500, 3rd Duck is $250 and the Lame Duck (last one to cross the finish line) is $100.
We are asking the public to support this cause by purchasing tickets at our booths in the grocery stores of Vernon/Coldstream. We will be on location rotating stores from March 22 to June 21 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
