September 15, 2012--Mural honoring the Vandenberg Village Lions Club, Lompoc Host Lions Club and 3 other Lompoc, California service clubs painted in one day by 18 artists. The mural depicts the work each service club does in the community.

VVLC members staff a booth at Olde Towne Market in Lompoc. The club has sponsors a postcard writing campaign for deployed US Service men and women. Over 200 postcards will be mailed to the troops in Afghanistan in November 2012.
