 Will You Help?

!!! NEWS FLASH !!!

The Community of Union Grove has Donated Thousands of Used Eye Glasses!

Collected Eye Glasses will be Delivered to the District Convention

The Union Grove Lions Club collects used eye glasses and hearing aids in the Union Grove area. There are designated containers located at various locations. The containers need to be checked occasionally to remove glasses and hearing aids and package them in boxes so they can be taken to the District Convention in January or to the State Convention in May.

The camp trailor is available at the conventions to haul the glasses and hearing aids to the camp.

We usually collect 2000-3000 eye glasses annually. They are sent to Wisconsin Lions Camp at Rosholt, WI where they are cleaned, refurbished, classified for optics, and then packaged and sent to the needy throughout the world.
