How can you help?

Participate

  • Have your eyes professionally checked regularly. Make sure your whole family practices good vision health.
  • Recycle your used eyeglasses. Our collection boxes are located throughout Troy, including the Public Library, Kroger, and Wal-Mart.
  • Have your blood sugar level checked at least annually. About 50% of people who have diabetes are not aware of their condition.

Support

  • Register your Kroger Plus card’s Community Rewards to the Troy Lions Charities.        Our number is 83734.  Go to KrogerCommunityRewards.com to register or re-register.
  • When shopping online consider going through www.GoodShop.com .  By selecting “Troy Lions Charities” a portion of each sale at participating merchants will be donated to us!
  • Eat out with our “Dining to Donate” flyers at local restaurants around Troy.  New flyers are available quarterly.

Donate

  • Throw in your loose change during our "White Cane Day" solicitation.
  • Purchase some “Dippin Donuts” at our booth at the Strawberry Festival, and buy some flowers during our annual Spring Rose Day sale.
  • Monetary donations are always welcome. The Troy Lions Charities is a 501c 3 charity.   All donations are tax deductible. One hundred percent of all donations are used for charitable purposes. All administrative expenses are provided and donated by the Troy Lions Club.

Volunteer

  • Contact us if you can help sell our fund raising projects or wish to assist with any of our service projects.
  • Join us! Volunteering provides opportunities for personal growth while giving something back to our community. Membership is open to all civic-minded men and women age 18 and above. Dues are only $70.00 a year with student and family discounts available.
