Interchurch Donation 2023
Thank you to everyone who was so generous to donate money at the kettles that were located at RBC, Tim Hortons, Photos with Santa and the Carol Sing. Along with your donation, the Thamesford Lions also donated, bringing the total to $5438. We also brought a trailer load of food donated at the Cali Christmas parade.
Embro Pavillion Project
Thamesford Lions Club donated $5000 to the Embro Pavillion Project in August, 2023.

Thamesford Multi Use Court
On March 2nd, 2023, members of the Thamesford Lions and the Thamesford Lawn Bowling Club were at the Zorra Township office to donate $50,000 to the members of the Thamesford Multi Use Court Committee.
Thamesford District Recreational Centre
In March the Thamesford Lions Club donated $3000 to go towards the overhead projector in the Community Hall for all renters to use
Ingersoll and area Interchurch-2022
$2,120 was donated to the Interchurch from the kettle drive held in Thamesford in 2022. Food, donated at the Christmas parade, was also donated to Interchurch
Embro Splash Pad
$5,000 was donated to the committee to go towards the Embro Splashpad
Batting Cage - Thamesford
$3,000 was donated to the TMBA to build a batting case in the South Park by the Baseball diamond
Playground equipment-Kintore
$5,000 was donated to help build a playground in Kintore

$1840 was donated to the Interchurch from the donations from the Kettle Drive! Thank you!
Water and Wheels Thamesford
$50,000 was donated to the Thamesford Committee called Water and Wheels to create a splash pad and skate park. Both opened in 2021
Alexandra Hospital - Ingersoll
$10,000 was donated to the Alexandra Hospital in 2019 to help purchase much needed medical equipment
Firehall A/V equipment
$3000 was donated to the Thamesford Firehall, in 2016, to purchase A/V equipment for the volunteers training room
Great Ride N Stride for Cancer
Thamesford was the home of the original ride and It was then known as the Ladies Ride for Cancer. In 1968 a group of 39 Ladies participated and raised over $4,000 for Cancer research. In 1969 the county of Oxford jumped in and they raised another $30,000 through the event. It has subsequently expanded across the country.
The Thamesford Ride is now organized by the Thamesford Lions with 100% of the money collected going to the Canadian Cancer Society.
