ACTIVE COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS
Since 1947, the Taneytown Lions Club has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to community charitable activities. All moneys collected from the community are used to help those in need. Money used to support the club, must come from the members. Some of the charitable organizations that we are actively supporting include the following:

The Taneytown Lions Club has medical equipment, i.e., wheel chairs, beds and other items to loan out and provides financial support needy individuals to have eye exams and purchase eye glasses. For information on medical, contact Lion Jim Haines at 410-756-4208. Financial Assistance for eye exams and glasses is provided to qualifying individuals who must first apply to the Carroll County Health Department.
