Flags for First Graders-

Building a sense of gratitude for their country.

For over a decade Surprise Sun Village Lions has been teaching first grade students about the great country they live in. They learn about the Flag, the National Anthem, the Star Spangled Banner and what it means to be a citizen of the USA. We have visited five Surprise and Wittman Elementary Schools dressed as Goerge Washington, Betsy Ross, Francis Scott Key and Francis Bellamy.
