A family of three was referred to the club. This family is made up of two adults and a 13-year-old child. The head of the household has some health challenges and is unemployed, the wife too is now unemployed due to the COVID pandemic. On investigating it was discovered that there was no means of preparing meals or were there items to prepare. The club members decided that a stove and groceries would be provided for the family. A member donated a two-burner tabletop stove for the family. Two Lions collected the wife and took her shopping as she would readily know the needs of the family. The family was very grateful for the assistance given by the Club.
