WHO ARE THE ST. JOHN LIONS?
We have proudly served the St. John community for nearly 70 years!
Our members are very different in many ways, but we share a core belief - our community is what we make it. That's because we help where help is needed. In short, We Serve!

NWI Veterans Village
The Food Pantry that serves the residents at the NWI Veterans Village needed help!
With the generous support of Home Depot, funding from a Lions Clubs International Foundation disaster relief grant, and the hard work of St. John Lions Club members, the pantry has been rebuilt, restocked, and is once again serving the veterans who call Veterans Village home.
A special thank you goes to our own "Home Depot Whisperer" for helping secure the shelving needed to make this project possible. Grant funds were used to purchase food and pantry essentials, while Lions members donated their time, energy, and muscle to assemble shelving, organize supplies, stock the pantry, and bring the project to life.
This is what Lions service is all about—neighbors helping neighbors, communities coming together, and making a real difference where it is needed most.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this effort. Together, we restored more than a pantry—we helped restore hope.

When severe weather impacted St. John, local organizations came together to help neighbors recover.
Members of the St. John Lions Club joined forces with local Boy Scouts to assist residents with storm cleanup efforts throughout the community. Volunteers rolled up their sleeves, cut fallen branches, hauled debris, and helped restore properties affected by the storm.
The project was made possible through a partnership with Home Depot, which generously provided chainsaws, wheelbarrows, and other equipment needed for the cleanup. Lions members and Scouts supplied the manpower, determination, pickup trucks, and plenty of elbow grease to get the job done.
This effort demonstrated the power of community service and teamwork. By working together, the Lions Club, Boy Scouts, Home Depot, and local volunteers were able to provide immediate assistance to neighbors when it was needed most.
The St. John Lions Club is proud to serve alongside organizations that share a commitment to helping others. Whether responding to a disaster, supporting veterans, or assisting local families, Lions remain dedicated to strengthening the community through service.
Together, we can accomplish great things when we answer the call to help.
