Serving those in need for over 7 Decades

St. James Lions Club has been providing services to those in need of assistance since it's charter, more than 7 decades ago.  Over the decades, we've been able to provide assistance in acquiring free eye exams, glasses and hearing aids to people in our community who have been in need.  We also contribute to Camp Brim Shire; a specialized educational-social-rehabilitation facility with emphysis on serving disadvantaged youth.

Through our fund raising projects, we've been able to provide other services to those in need within our community.   Providing food to the needy at Christmas, warm clothing for children during the school year and fans for seniors in need during the hot months of summer are some of what we do to help our community.

Services we contribute to beyond our community include Missouri Eye Research, LCIF, World Service for the Blind and Leader Dogs; a program that provides service animals to sight impaired individuals, free of charge.

For the past 77 years, we have endeavered to provide service to our community, and beyond.  Our club is committed to continue our service.
