St. David’s LEOs
The St. Davids Leos are part of Lions Clubs International, a global network dedicated to youth leadership and community service. Since 2015, this LEO club (ages 12–18) has been making an impact locally with guidance from the St. Davids Lions Club.
Our Mission
Leo stands for Leadership • Experience • Opportunity.
Leos develop leadership skills, gain hands-on experience, and build character through planning and executing projects that benefit the community .
What We Do
Leos around the world—and at St. Davids—focus on:
-
Community service projects: supporting youth, elderly, individuals with disabilities; organizing cleanups, health screenings, literacy programs, and environmental initiatives
-
Fundraising events: hosting local fundraisers aligned with Lions club efforts
-
Social and leadership activities: planning club meetings, workshops, team-building, and networking
Locally, our Leos have:
-
Raised over $5,000 for causes like MacKids Cancer Clinic, Kids Help Phone, and Dog Guides
-
Partnered with St. Davids Public School to provide team athletic wear and organized school-benefiting initiatives
