About Us

The St. Davids Lions Club has been an integral part of the Niagara-on-the-Lake and St. Davids community since its founding in 1963. As one of the largest Lions Clubs in the district, with over 100 members, we are proud to make a meaningful impact through service, fellowship, and dedication.

For over 60 years, our club has organized fundraising events, community service projects, and charitable initiatives to support local families, businesses, and organizations. Whether it's helping those in need, preserving our environment, supporting youth programs, or fighting hunger, we believe in taking action and serving with heart.

The St. Davids Lioness and Leos Clubs are also an important part of our organization, working alongside us to serve the community.

Our Projects

The St. Davids Lions Club takes pride in hosting and participating in numerous projects and events that bring people together and address important community needs. Some of our key projects include:

  • The St. Davids Lions Carnival – Our biggest annual fundraising event, bringing families together for fun, entertainment, and community support.
  • The Fish Fry – A community favorite, offering great food while raising funds for local causes.
  • Eyeglass Collection & Vision Assistance – Supporting the Lions Clubs International mission to improve vision and provide glasses to those in need.
  • Scholarships & Youth Support Programs – Encouraging education and leadership among young people.

Our Committees

To keep our club running smoothly and ensure the success of our projects, we have several dedicated committees, including:

  • Marketing & Communications
  • Carnival Committee
  • Fish Fry Committee
  • Community Service & Fundraising
  • Leos & Youth Programs

If you are passionate about helping others, making new connections, and becoming part of a global movement, we invite you to join us and experience the joy of giving back.
