Somerset Lions Club 2024 Projects

Support Somerset Lions Club Weekly & Monthly with donations of Cans or Bottles.

Town Line Redemption - 1901 County Street, Dighton MA.

Pull up to front of building.  Drop off seperated, bagged and pre-counted MA stamped cans & plastic.  Glass bottles should be in their boxes.  Let them know you would like your donation to be made to Somerset Lions Club.  Need boxes?  Grab them at Town Line Redemption.

Your donation saves our planet and goes towards our Enviroment Global Cause this year.  Thank you.  ______________________________________________________________________________

Recycle old glasses and hard shell eyelass cases. The glasses are sorted to determine those that are usable or unusable, processed and placed in inventory for distribution to optical missions around the world.  Help minimize landfill waste by supporting precious metal reclamation and scrap processing for damaged glasses that are unusable.  The hard-shell glass cases are recycled for hygiene kits for the homeless and our Veterans.

HEARING AIDES can also be dropped off in this bin.

COLLECTION FOR VETERANS The Veterans Association on Pine Street in Fall River is in constant need of basic essential items for the food pantry and lunches for the Veterans. Especially needed are to-go containers, plastic utensils, paper plates, and napkins. In addition, any hygiene items, canned goods, and snacks. Contact 1st VP John Hinves if you have any donations to offer!

TREX Plastic Bag and Film Recycling Project

This project is ongoing to collect and recycle plastic to help both the Scouts and the VFW to earn their own bench.  Somerset Lions Club earned our bench recently.

Recycle your plastic at one of the approved sites (Market Basket, Hannafords, Kohls, Shaws and Stop & Shop) and report to us by email laurie.lebeau@yahoo.com how much you recycled.  Thank you for your continued support.

Auclair’s Market proudly collects American Flags that are beyond repair to be properly disposed in a respectful manner.
