Cub Sight
Even though we feel that the CubSight Program is a successful program and we have identified hundreds of children with eye diseases, we still need your help. Even with volunteers from more than 100 clubs, that are being trained to utilize the new PlusOptix S12R, there are many children we have not seen yet. Lion members screening your children throughtout the state.
Can you tell me if I am going Blind?
By taking a photo of the child’s eyes with a special camera so that a doctor can determine if the child has amblyopia, commonly referred to as Lazy Eye, or any other eye diseases. By monitoring how the child’s eyes react to light, we are able to help prevent blindness in these children with early detection and appropriate care.
