LCS Ladyhill was chartered in Feb 1988 and has 28 members today. The philosophy of this all-ladies club is driven by the motto “To Serve with Heart”, which is a strong motivating factor behind all her projects.
Ladyhill is an active fundraiser and contributor to various Lions entities including LCSF, LHE, LBSA, LSSC and LPC. Funds are raised through various channels including sales of festive delicacies, archar, hand crafted bags, peranakan wares and private dining events.
The key projects are :
a) Buying and delivering fruits every month for the young girls from AHUVA GOOD SHEPHERD; and organizing field trips and activities such as Karaoke & Pizza night during their school holidays;
b) Monthly lunch for the elderly at the Lions Befrienders Active Aging Centres in Ang Mo Kio and Clementi;
c) Annual Dinner at Kreta Ayer Community Club and Lights@Orchard for the elderly from Lions Befrienders; and
d) Annual Chinese opera performance and lunch for the residents at Lions Home for the Elders.
