Bringing Our Community Together
The Sherwood Lions Club was organized in March 1968 and was granted a Charter by Lions Clubs International on May 1968. Our club has over 40 members. We were the sponsor club for the Sherwood Pride Lioness Club and we thank them for their 13 years of service to the Sherwood area.
International Association of Lions Clubs is celebrated their 100th Anniversary in 2017 and in 2018 the Sherwood Lions Club celebrated it's 50th year of serving the Greater Sherwood Area Community.
Our club holds a business meeting the 2nd Tuesday of the month at the Granary at 6:30 PM, and our dinner meeting on the 4th Tuesday of the month at the Granary at 7:00 PM. Dinner meetings are held September thru May.
Lions Club International and the Members of Sherwood Lions Club are from all walks of life, and have one motto: “WE SERVE.” We raise money to fund our projects. All of our Administrative costs are from dues paid by the members. ALL money raised by our Fundraisers support the Charities and Projects selected by our club members. We are always looking for new members to support our projects. Contact a member to find more information about our club.

The Sherwood Lions Club Inc. is a not for profit 501C (4) social welfare organization. According the IRS donations to 501C (4) organizations generally are not deductible charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. Donations to a 501C (4) organizations may be deductible as trade or business expenses, if ordinary and necessary in the conduct of the taxpayer’s business. We appreciate all donations we receive whether they are monetary or equipment donations. We will provide a donation thank you form upon request.
