San Francisco Unified Lions Club serves the community of San Francisco and Internationally.  Below is a short list of our projects:

Asian Pacific American Heritage - (Usually in May)

Beach Clean up (on-going)

Bikes for Veterans - Monthly bike repair 3rd Wednesday of each month. Email Lion Jenny to get on the schedule.

Christmas Day Salvation Army Food Delivery (Christmas Day)

Colon Cancer Coalition (Get Your Rear In Gear) -  July 11, 2021 (Register to join the SFUnifiedLC team or make a donation to your support colon cancer awareness)

Eyeglass collection (year round collection) Drop-off your recycled presciption eye glasses at the Outer Sunset Farmer's Market (3rd Sunday of each month)

One Warm Coat Drive (Oct./Nov.)

San Francisco - Marin Food Bank (on-going)

Senior Photo project (on-going project)

Sunset Mercantile/Farmer's Market - 37th Ave. on Pacheco (3rd Sunday of each month)

Thanksgiving Salvation Army Food Deliver (Thanksgiving Day)

Toy Drive (Nov./Dec.)

Veteran's Success Center - clothes drive (Oct. & Nov.)

The Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation (mission is to significantly reduce the number of burn injuries through prevention education, and to enhance the quality of life of those affected by burn injuries in California. A safe California free from burn injuries, and a community of empowered burn survivors.)              

APA Heritage Foundation (Coordinate resources to present San Francisco's annual celebration of APA Heritage month and provide a forum for community collaboration.)   

Asian American Foundation (supports Asian women in personal and professional growth)

Abraham Lincoln High School – Special Education (SPED) (The Special Education Department at Lincoln High School serves 240 students with mild, moderate and severe learning disabilities as well as students with Autism, emotional disturbances, blindness, deafness and other health impairments.)

The Bay Area Chapter of Foundation Fighting Blindness is focused on providing updates on retinal disease research and connecting you to local resources.)

Colon Cancer Coalition (a non-profit organization that host events like our local 5k race Get Your Rear In Gear. The funds raised goes back to our local communities to raise awareness for colon cancer screenings.)

Coral Tree Education Foundation (supports education for girls in Cambodia)       

Freely In Hope (brings awareness of sexual violence in South Africa and other African countries by providing educational programs and leadership development)        

Gary Sinise Foundation (supports fallen military children and veterans)

Foundation Fighting Blindness - Bay Area VisionWalk

GLIDE SF (GLIDE is a radically inclusive, just and loving community mobilized to alleviate suffering and break the cycles of poverty and marginalization.)

Lions Veterans Charities (supports local veterans with housing, meals, and clothing)

San Francisco Chinatown Photography Society (supports senior photography projects)    

S.F Fire Toy Program (The program gives toys to about 40,000 disadvantage children.)                  

Vietnamese Youth Development Center (Provide a safe after-school academic environment for children in the Tenderloin.
