 CURRENT PROJECTS

Camano Island Youth Camp

Our club since the 1960s has maintained and operated a 22-acre Youth Camp on Camano Island. The camp is available without charge for non-profit organizations in the Seattle area. It is popular with Scout and church groups as well as proving a summer campsite for the Washington Boys and Girls Club.

During September’s, our club holds its annual Salmon Bake at the camp for club members, other Lions and their friends and families. In 2019, we were able to make renovations and upgrades to the main building due to the generous donations from the estates of two recently passed members of the club.

To reserve the site, please contact Lion John Jones at johngjonesiv@msn.com

Thanksgiving Baskets

Each year we pack and deliver Thanksgiving boxes for families in the Seattle Public School District. Each basket contains 21 items, including a whole turkey, chicken, sides, and dessert to feed an entire family. Items are generously donated from local grocery stores, members of our community, and Lions members. The Magnolia United Church of Christ has kindly donated their space for this event for the past few years.
