Thanksgiving Baskets GO!
The University-Ballard Lions Club annual thanksgiving tradition! We gathered on Monday morning November 24 to pack "thanksgiving baskets" and deliver them to local schools for distribution to families.
This year's crew packed 48 boxes (serving 24 families) in three local schools. It's a great way to kick of Thanksgiving week.
We want to extand a special thank you to Magnolia United Church of Christ for hosting us. And to Metropolitan Market, QFC, Safeway, and especially Plymouth Poultry and Charlie’s Produce for their food donations.
