Who are the Scandia-Marine Lions?
We have proudly served the Scandia-Marine-Town of May communities for more than 38 years!
Although our members are different in many ways, we share a core belief: that our community is what we make it and we help where it is needed. In short, We Serve!
Here are some of the things our club has done during the past couple of years:
- Presented dictionaries to all 3rd grade students at Scandia Elementary School
- Supported the One Stop Donation Drop & Blood Drive that helped 26 local, national, and global non-profits.
- Donated money to help families in need.
- Gave 17 $1,000 scholarships to college-bound high school seniors.
- Held the annual Christmas breakfast for the community.
- Collected, counted, and sorted used eyeglasses for the Lions vision program.
- Held the annual Chicken Dinner to raise funds for college scholarships.
- Held the Fat Cat Triathalon to raise money for various causes.
