President’s Goals

September 2016 thru February 2017

As President, my primary goals over six months will focus on member orientation and new member growth. In order to accomplish these goals, I will update, expand, and broaden the scope of information in the club’s current "new member handbook,” transforming it into an  indispensable tool for all club members, not just new ones.

The second step is to conduct all-member orientation workshops. Two monthly meetings will be devoted to paging through the newly revised handbook, with the purpose of teaching newer members, and bringing older members into present day Lionism.

The third step is to assemble a group of strong members who will be tapped to help grow the club’s roster. Direct outreach by enthusiastic members is the single most successful tool for sustainable club growth. These members will attend a breakfast strategy meeting at the beginning of October. Recruiting quality members requires personal invitations, community visibility, and the "Just Ask" approach. These talented club members will agree on a realistic timeline and form an action plan. The secret of getting ahead is getting started, so from there, the work will begin to add three to five new, quality members by the end of February. There will be regular assessments to ensure synergy. With crystal-clear vision, passion, and teamwork, there is no limit to the good we can accomplish together.

Roars,

Carol Ann
