LIONS clubs around the world conduct a variety of community and humanitarian projects. There are ten major activities of LIONism, and individual clubs choose to focus on one or more of the following: Sight conservation, Work with the blind, hearing and speech action, work with the deaf, citizenship, education, environment, public service, recreation and health service.
 

In the last year, our local Sandown chapter has contributed to these activities with some of our accomplishments listed below:

• Eye screenings for the students of Sandown
• Food drives to support our local food pantry
• Donations to camp pride (http://www.lionscamppride.org/)
• Scholorships for Timberlane students
• Donations to Sandown events
• Roadside cleanups
• Helping the community and much more!
