Reach Out and Read

Bluebonnet Lions are proud to be sponsors of the early childhood reading program Reach Out and Read, which provides preschool children with age-appropriate books when they visit their pediatricians at

Corridor Primary Care

Thank you for your support as we raise funds locally to purchase books for our precious preschool children.

The San Marcos Bluebonnet Lions Club was chartered on May 1, 1984 as the San Marcos Lioness Club, with 66 charter members.

As a result of changes in Lions Clubs International By-Laws, which allowed female Lioness clubs to convert to Lions clubs, our club was re-chartered as the San Marcos Bluebonnet Lions with 55 charter members in July of 1992.

The San Marcos Bluebonnet Lions Club is a member of Lions District 2-S3.

The District of Leaders includes the clubs located in Bastrop, Burnet, Blanco, Caldwell, Comal, Hays, Milam, Travis, and Williamson counties.
