About Us
The Rockford Lions Club, formed in the community on April 25, 1956, has a long history of service to the area. Also, Lions make an impact worldwide, such as through our sight programs, which is an effort to stamp out preventable blindness throughout the world.
Locally, our club has the opportunity to have an impact in a variety of ways in and around the community.
Did you know the Rockford Lions:
-
Donates $30,000 annually to the needs of the community
-

-
Installed playground equipment in Rockford area parks
-

Club meetings are held on the second and third Monday of each month, starting at 7:00 pm in the Lions Building at Riverside Park (unless otherwise noted). For specific dates and times, check our calendar.
Our members are business leaders and average citizens who care about the vitality of the community in which they live. The best part is we develop friendships among the group that we would not normally be exposed to.
We are always looking for new members who would like to get involved and make our community a better place.
