Trex Recyling Project
As part of our community service, Weber-Evergreen and Riverdale Utah Lions Club is collecting unwanted plastic materials for recycling. We are collecting grocery bags, bread bags, case overwrap, dry cleaning bags, newspaper sleeves, ice bags, wood pellet bags, Ziplock & other re-sealable bags, produce bags, bubble wrap, salt bags, and cereal bags.
When we donate our unwanted plastic materials, not only are we helping to keep thousands of pounds of waste out of landfills, we're also helping Trex continue to create beautiful and environmentally responsible outdoor products. And, as an additional incentive after collecting more than 500 pounds of plastic refuse in a six-month span, Trex will donate a high-performance composite bench to our community.
We've placed two plastic collection bins in Riverdale to collect the recycled plastic. They are located at Riverdale Elementary School lower parking lot, and the parking lot between Walmart and Dollar Tree.
Thank you for your help. To get involved, or if interested in service contact:
