We would like to thank Everyone in or near our community who supports Lionism and contributes to our fundraising efforts.  Your continued support is essential to fund vision research and to help many of the individuals and worthwhile causes that we serve throughout our area.

We would like to thank The St. Agnes Catholic Church, in Rising Sun, Maryland, for supporting our Lions Club by providing the use of their facillities for our Regular Meetings.

Old Dominion Electric Cooperative - ODEC

We would like to thank Old Dominion Electric Cooperative (ODEC) who are the owners of Wildcat Point Generation Facility and partial owners of Rock Springs Electric Generation Facility, for their donations to our Packaged Weekend Meals project and our Healthcare Equipment project.  Their contributions will be used to provide "take home weekend meals" to underprivileged children at Rising Sun Elementary School throughout the school year.

We would like to thank Old Dominion Electric Cooperative (ODEC) who are the owners of Wildcat Point Generation Facility and partial owners of Rock Springs Electric Generation Facility, for their donations to our Packaged Weekend Meals and Healthcare Equipment projects.  Their contributions will be used to provide "take home weekend meals" to underprivileged children at Rising Sun Elementary School during the school year, and to provide loaned Healthcare Equipment to individuals throughout Rising Sun and other nearby communities.

Ag-Industrial, Inc.

We would like to thank the Owners, Management and Employees of Ag-Industrial, Inc for their recognition and support of our Lions Club.  In 2015, they generously donated the proceeds from their Spring Fling raffle sales, to our Lions Club to help support our Healthcare Equipment Lending project.  Their contributions allow us to continue to help many people in and near our community with healthcare and disability equipment needs.

Boy Scout Troop #143

 

We would like to thank the members and sponsors of Boy Scout Troop #143  for their continuing support.   Their able assistance during some of our larger fundraising events make our goals easier to achieve.

Boy Scout Troop 143 Hopewell is a Boy Scout Troop serving the communities of Rising Sun, Perryville and Port Deposit, Maryland.  They are members of the Boy Scouts of America. belong to the Chester County Council, Boy Scouts of America. and were chartered by Hopewell United Methodist Church.  If you are a parent of, or you yourself are, a boy in the range of 11 to 17 years of age, and you would like additional information, please visit their website or contact them by email, at troop143@cccbsa.org.

We encourage the youth in our local and nearby communities, to consider the benefits of joining  Boy Scout Troop #143 .
