Plainfield Lions Club Silent Auction and Dinner

The Plainfield Lions Club’s largest fundraiser is our annual silent auction, held for the last 23 years.  Past president Mark Holzapfeld sais, “This event is too much fun to be considered work!”

Our silent auction it typically held later in th month of April and it is $100.00 per person to attend.

Lions Michael Phelps has been the event char for the auction for the last eight years; under Mr. Phelps’s leadership the Plainfield Lions has raised $100,000.00 for sight, hearing, and families and children in need in our Plainfield community.

The auction and dinner is currently held at the Joliet Country Club, at 1009 Spencer Road.  The Plainfield Lions hosts 170 to 210 people at the dinner auction every year.

Current Lions president Bruce Kurschner looks forward to continuing this incredible tradition and mixing charity with a fun evening for our Plainfield public and Lions members to attend.
