Lions help support the blind and visually impaired.  Our motto is "We Serve."  Our Club was chartered March, 1973.

Pilot Lions collect used eye glasses and recycle them.  If you have used eye glasses you would like to donate call Graham Baker at 919-961-1436

Some community projects the Pilot Lions have organized and sponsored are:

Purchase eyeglasses for locals who are financially challanged.  Give two scholarships to local high school graduates.  Provided roofs for the dugouts at Lion's Park and fencing down the first baseline.  Provide a free meal to our local senior citizens yearly.  Sponsor a Lion's Peace Poster Contest.
