Peninsula Veterans Lions Club and Habibi’s Salon have partnered to provide our Women Veterans with vouchers for hair dressing needs.
The women served are in the Women’s Trauma Unit, the First Step Program, the Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program, and the Community Living Centers, (these are the nursing home units, and women in non ambulatory unit)
These women are suffering and/or recovering from Mental Health and Substance Abuse issues, some are indigent, and many are victims of abuse, domestic violence and homelessness.
