DISTRICT 33A
About District 33A
The Lions of District 33A are inspired by the words and life of Helen Keller - to be "Knights of the Blind", and motivated by the needs of our Central Massachusetts communities. Camaraderie, fun, and the gratification of giving are some of the biggest joys of becoming a Lion. Please look through our website to view our many activities and contributions, and ask yourself if you would like to become a member of lions Clubs International, the Largest Service Club organization in the world today. Please contact us for any information and or help you may need.
We are part of the Massachusetts Lions Multiple District 33. Located in Central Massachusetts, our administration supports 49 Lions Clubs and more than 1455 Lions. The District is broken down into 4 regions, or geographic areas, with 8 zones. Each Region is assigned a Region Chairman and each Zone is assigned a Zone Chairmen, These dedicated Lions meet with and support their assigned clubs.
We provide club officer training and support as well programs geared to assist our Lions in serving their communities. These programs include: Sight & Hearing Conservation & Treatment Fund, Inc – Funded by club donations set up to help District Clubs provide sight and hearing assistance to citizens of their communities when assistance is beyond their ability to help. The District 33A Sightmobile - A mobile platform used for eye and health screenings.

Who Are Lions?
Lions meet the needs of local communities and the world. Our more than 1.3 million members in 205 countries and geographic areas are different in many ways, but we share a core belief – community is what we make it.
