Helping Our Community

Service is at the heart of everything the Oregon-Brooklyn Lions Club does.

Our members organize and support projects that make a meaningful difference for families, children, and individuals in our community.

Vision Programs

Lions are widely known for their work supporting vision care.

Our club participates in programs such as:

• Vision screening for young children

• Eyeglass recycling programs

• Along collecting with Hearing Aids, Cell Phones, and Ink Cartages

• Support for Lions vision initiatives

These efforts help ensure that individuals have access to the vision care they need.

Youth and Education

Supporting youth is an important part of our mission.

Our club supports programs such as:

• Scholarships for graduating high school seniors

• Literacy programs including 1000 Books Before Kindergarten

• School supply drives like Stuff the Bus

These programs help give young people the tools they need to succeed.

Community Support

Throughout the year, we organize initiatives to support families and individuals in need.

These include:

• Operation Joy Toy holiday gift drive

• Donations to local food pantries

• Community service projects

By working together, we help strengthen the support network within our community.

Environmental Service

We also support efforts to keep our community clean and healthy through environmental service activities including highway cleanup and community beautification projects.
