Oregon-Brooklyn Lions Club Celebrates a Legacy of Community Service in Southern Wisconsin

For decades, the Oregon-Brooklyn Lions Club has been a cornerstone of service and community engagement in the villages of Oregon and Brooklyn, Wisconsin. As part of Lions Clubs International, the club carries forward a proud tradition of volunteerism, leadership, and humanitarian impact.

Since June 11, 1980 the Oregon-Brooklyn Lions Club has brought together dedicated individuals committed to improving lives locally and beyond. Through initiatives focused on vision care, youth development, and community support, the club has made a lasting difference for generations of residents.

The club’s service efforts have included eyeglass collection programs, scholarships for local students, community fundraisers, and direct assistance to families in need. Their work reflects the Lions’ global mission: “We Serve.”

“Our history is rooted in neighbors helping neighbors,” said a club representative. “Every project we take on is about strengthening our community and creating opportunities for others.”

Today, the Oregon-Brooklyn Lions Club continues to build on its legacy—welcoming new members, expanding its reach, and inspiring the next generation of service leaders.
