Serving Our Community Since 1972
If you are a resident of Orcas Island, the 40+ men and women members of our Lions Club are your friends and neighbors. We are part of Lions Clubs International, an organization of 1.35 million Lions who perform community service in 208 countries around the world. The motto of Lions Clubs International is “We Serve” and our Orcas Island Lions take that motto to heart.

- Vision and Hearing assistance (eyeglasses, hearing aids, Leader Dogs, eyeglass recycling)
- Mobility Equipment Loan (wheelchairs, walkers etc. at the Senior Center)
- Lions Health Screening Van
- Community Blood Drives (local organization and staff support)

- Scholarships for our Graduating Seniors ($21,600 in 2021)
- L.I.K.E. (Lions Interested in Kindergarten Education - Books and reading program)
- Support of Lions Camp Horizon – a special needs camp for teens and adults
- Logistical support (tents and volunteers) 4th of July Fireworks & Chili Cook-Off
- Financial support to Camp Orkila, Orcas Food Bank, The Giving Tree, and others
