The Lions are recruiting

Yes the Lions are recruiting but then again we're always recruiting.  There is never enough manpower necessary to fulfill the need for help in this country, even here in the cotswolds, a fairly affluent part of the country.  There are always those that need our help and its never ending.  Come along and join us on the second tuesday of the month at the Cotswold Hall, Northleach at 8.00pm.  You can be certain of a warm welcome.

Message in a Bottle (MIAB)

​​This scheme is free to the user. Whilst it is focused on the more vulnerable people in our community, anyone can fall downstairs or have a car accident, so this scheme can benefit anyone, including you. As a minimum it will save the Emergency Services valuable time identifying you and your emergency contacts. By telling whether you have special medication or allergies or not, it is a potential lifesaver and provides peace of mind to users and their friends and families.

Recycle for sight

Throughout the year, Lions, Leos and other volunteers collect used eyeglasses and deliver them to regional Lions Eyeglass Recycling Centers (LERCs). LERC volunteers clean, sort by prescription strength and package the glasses. Most of the recycled glasses are distributed to people in need.

Food-Bank 

Throughout the year Cotswold Fosseway Lions club collect food from their own houses then from the Local Foodbank and deliver it to the warehouse where it is taken for those less fortunate.
