JARS OF HOPE & CHOC BAGS
On Sunday 12th, Northcliff Lions packed care packs that will be given to CHOC, as well as Jars of Hope to feed hungry members of the communities we serve. Afterwards we got together for a fellowship braai.

QUIZ EVENING
Northcliff Lions hosted a Zone 1 Quiz Evening on Friday 20th May. The R50 per person entry fee included supper. Lions clubs participating were Clearwater Cyber, Helderkruin, Weltevreden and Wilro Park. Wilro Park, who kindly loaned their clubhouse to Northcliff for the event, deservedly took the first two spots. The first and second prizes in the raffle to raise funds for CHOC were both won by Helderkruin, who were also drawn to host the next quiz. Great fun was had by all. Three cheers to our Nicky Squair who put the whole event together and set some questions that stumped a lot of participants!

BUDDY DAY 2022

Northcliff Lions doing their thing at Buddy Day 2022 on 14 May at La Salle College. After a Covid-enforced two year hiatus, it was great to resume this worthy project, where disabled folk are hosted by Lions Clubs running stalls and entertainment, and accompanied for the morning by high school learners.
