Who we are

North Surrey Lions Club was formed in 1957 by community minded citizens. We are part of Lions Clubs International which currently has over 1.4 millions members in more than 200 countries serving the needs of those within their communities.  Geographically, North Surrey Lions Club is part of Multiple District 19 which encompasses Lions Clubs in British Columbia, Washington and Northern Idaho. 

A club of volunteers, the men and women of North Surrey Lions are a group of hard working, dedicated volunteers with a passion to helping those in need.  They believe volunteering is an admirable way to involve oneself within the community and the Club is always looking for new members who wish to take an active and leadership role to better our society one step at a time.

As a club, the North Surrey Lions stand by the Lions motto:  'WE SERVE', to support, donate and commit time and compassion to improve the local community.  Focusing on less fortunate families in Surrey's neighbourhoods is a priority of our Club along with contributing to local organizations which help those in need.
